Mr. Stookey has thirteen years of experience in and around the pharmaceutical research industry. Mr. Stookey's experience with clinical trials began during his tenure at PPD Pharmaco, Inc. While with Pharmaco, he gained extensive experience running, operating and monitoring phase I clinical trial research and also had reponsibilities as the staff paramedic. Later he gained extensive phase II-IV experience working as a contract CRA. Within this time frame, Mr. Stookey was involved in several ventures relating to the legal and ethical compliance of pharmaceutical research, including his own companies.
Prior to his tenure in the pharmaceutical research industry, Mr.Stookey spent 10 years working in emergency medical services as a paramedic. He also served as an EMT and paramedic instructor at Northeast Missouri State University and Austin Community College. During this time, Mr. Stookey co-founded Offshore EMS Inc., a company which provided emergency medical airlift and support for offshore oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
